# Pet Bar vs Gloaming

The clearest difference is ads: Gloaming at none against Pet Bar's shown. Gloaming also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pet Bar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Gloaming sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pet Bar ships an update every 6 weeks, Gloaming every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
