# Fwrd vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is rating: Fwrd at 5.0 against SMS Forwarder's 4.0. SMS Forwarder's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fwrd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SMS Forwarder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fwrd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively.

Fwrd ships an update every 2 weeks, SMS Forwarder every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
