# Fwrd vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fwrd at every 2 days against SMS Forwarder's every 5 days. SMS Forwarder's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fwrd sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fwrd ships an update every 2 days, SMS Forwarder every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
