# Shadow Node vs NodeMint

The clearest difference is update cadence: NodeMint at every 2 days against Shadow Node's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadow Node sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NodeMint sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shadow Node ships an update weekly, NodeMint every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
