# Modaly vs AskBetter

The clearest difference is update cadence: AskBetter at every 3 days against Modaly's weekly. Modaly's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modaly sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $36.00 per month and AskBetter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Modaly ships an update weekly, AskBetter every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
