# MyTrainPal vs IntervalCoach

The clearest difference is ratings volume: IntervalCoach at 13 against MyTrainPal's 2. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyTrainPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and IntervalCoach sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyTrainPal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IntervalCoach has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
