# Moodnotes vs 盼日 · Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is monetization model: 盼日 · Countdown Widget at free against Moodnotes's free with in-app purchases. 盼日 · Countdown Widget also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Moodnotes's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moodnotes sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and 盼日 · Countdown Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

盼日 · Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moodnotes has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Moodnotes ships an update every 9 days, 盼日 · Countdown Widget weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
