# PicMatic vs TimerShot

The clearest difference is ads: PicMatic at none against TimerShot's shown. TimerShot's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicMatic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TimerShot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
