# OverLog vs Braced

The clearest difference is update cadence: Braced at weekly against OverLog's fortnightly. Braced also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OverLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Braced sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OverLog ships an update fortnightly, Braced weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
