# Beta Plus vs SVU

The clearest difference is rating: SVU at 3.1 against Beta Plus's 1.0. SVU also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1). Beta Plus's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SVU holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SVU has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Beta Plus ships an update every 5 days, SVU fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
