# Critter Spin vs Stretchy Bands

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stretchy Bands at none against Critter Spin's 10. Critter Spin's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Critter Spin sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Stretchy Bands asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Critter Spin against 5.0 for Stretchy Bands. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Critter Spin has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Critter Spin ships an update every 2 days, Stretchy Bands every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
