# BeaconPad vs App Iris

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: App Iris at 17.0 against BeaconPad's 26.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeaconPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and App Iris sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
