# SubTracker vs SubCaddy

The clearest difference is rating: SubTracker at 2.2 against SubCaddy's 1.0. SubTracker also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). SubCaddy's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 14%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SubCaddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubTracker holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubTracker has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of SubTracker's written reviews are positive against 33% of SubCaddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SubTracker ships an update every 9 days, SubCaddy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
