# Steppy Pets vs Pupstep

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Steppy Pets at 7 against Pupstep's 1. Steppy Pets also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppy Pets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pupstep sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Steppy Pets against 5.0 for Pupstep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steppy Pets has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
