# BeFluent vs Superfluent Classic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BeFluent at 83% against Superfluent Classic's 0%. BeFluent also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Superfluent Classic's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeFluent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Superfluent Classic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superfluent Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BeFluent's written reviews are positive against 0% of Superfluent Classic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeFluent ships an update weekly, Superfluent Classic monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
