# TapLedger vs Tappel

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tappel at every 4 days against TapLedger's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TapLedger sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tappel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TapLedger ships an update every 6 weeks, Tappel every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
