# My Next vs Brain Dump

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brain Dump at weekly against My Next's monthly. My Next's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Next sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Brain Dump sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Next ships an update monthly, Brain Dump weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
