# Note.md vs BionicWords

The clearest difference is update cadence: BionicWords at every 2 days against Note.md's every 10 days. BionicWords also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note.md sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BionicWords sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note.md ships an update every 10 days, BionicWords every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
