# Note.md vs Marky

The clearest difference is ads: Note.md at none against Marky's shown. Marky's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note.md sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Marky sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note.md ships an update fortnightly, Marky daily. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
