# Strobe vs Project

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Strobe at 8 against Project's 1. Strobe also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Strobe against 5.0 for Project. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strobe has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
