# Nook vs Spanly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nook at fortnightly against Spanly's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nook sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Spanly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nook ships an update fortnightly, Spanly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
