# Yuuna vs Forewords

The clearest difference is rating: Forewords at 5.0 against Yuuna's 4.6. Forewords also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Yuuna's advantage is ratings volume (132 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yuuna sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Forewords sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forewords holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yuuna has 132 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Yuuna's written reviews are positive against 100% of Forewords's.

Yuuna ships an update every 10 days, Forewords fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
