# INTVL vs HearTime

The clearest difference is ads: HearTime at none against INTVL's shown. HearTime also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. INTVL sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year and HearTime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
