# YaArr vs NZB

The clearest difference is monetization model: YaArr at free against NZB's free with in-app purchases. YaArr also leads on ratings volume (4 vs 1). NZB's advantage is iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YaArr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NZB sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for YaArr against 5.0 for NZB. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.

YaArr ships an update fortnightly, NZB every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
