# Tomodoro vs Sundae

The clearest difference is ads: Sundae at none against Tomodoro's shown. Sundae also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tomodoro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sundae sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tomodoro ships an update every 6 months, Sundae every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
