# Private Browser vs Secure Proxy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Private Browser at every 9 days against Secure Proxy's every 2 weeks. Private Browser also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Browser sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Secure Proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private Browser ships an update every 9 days, Secure Proxy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
