# SplitRig vs BiCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitRig at weekly against BiCam's every 2 months. SplitRig also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). BiCam's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 9) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SplitRig holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BiCam has 55 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SplitRig ships an update weekly, BiCam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
