# SplitRig vs DualLens

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SplitRig at none against DualLens's 1. SplitRig also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (38 vs 1). DualLens's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DualLens sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SplitRig asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SplitRig against 5.0 for DualLens. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SplitRig has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SplitRig ships an update weekly, DualLens every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
