# TermOnMac vs Trackalot

The clearest difference is device support: Trackalot at 3 against TermOnMac's 1. TermOnMac's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TermOnMac sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Trackalot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
