# TermOnMac vs SiteScanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: TermOnMac at every 2 weeks against SiteScanner's monthly. SiteScanner's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TermOnMac sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SiteScanner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TermOnMac ships an update every 2 weeks, SiteScanner monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
