# Note Taker vs Quickmind

The clearest difference is ads: Note Taker at none against Quickmind's shown. Note Taker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Quickmind's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Taker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Quickmind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quickmind has 61 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Note Taker ships an update every 2 weeks, Quickmind every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
