# Weather Tracker vs StormNet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StormNet at none against Weather Tracker's 3. StormNet also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Weather Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. StormNet asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Weather Tracker against 4.9 for StormNet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StormNet has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
