# Twidddle vs Happy Christmas Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Twidddle at none against Happy Christmas Countdown's shown. Twidddle also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Happy Christmas Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twidddle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Happy Christmas Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Twidddle against 5.0 for Happy Christmas Countdown. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twidddle has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Twidddle ships an update every 3 months, Happy Christmas Countdown every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
