# Ryppd vs Buffro

The clearest difference is ads: Buffro at none against Ryppd's shown. Buffro also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (237 vs 5). Ryppd's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ryppd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Buffro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ryppd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buffro has 237 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Ryppd ships an update weekly, Buffro every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
