# AfterSession vs Mente

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mente at every 2 days against AfterSession's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AfterSession sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Mente sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AfterSession ships an update weekly, Mente every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
