# Gymciety vs MAXD

The clearest difference is ads: Gymciety at none against MAXD's shown. MAXD's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gymciety sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and MAXD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gymciety ships an update every 2 months, MAXD daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
