# STEM Tutor vs Explanova

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Explanova at 15.0 against STEM Tutor's 18.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEM Tutor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Explanova sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
