# Elori vs Carousel

The clearest difference is ads: Elori at none against Carousel's shown. Carousel's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elori sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Carousel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Elori against 4.8 for Carousel. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 19 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Elori ships an update every 3 weeks, Carousel every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
