# RelockIn vs Reset

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RelockIn at 100% against Reset's 42%. RelockIn also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Reset's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (172 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RelockIn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Reset sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reset holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reset has 172 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of RelockIn's written reviews are positive against 42% of Reset's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RelockIn ships an update every 5 days, Reset every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
