# Saylo vs Better Writing

The clearest difference is update cadence: Better Writing at every 2 days against Saylo's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Saylo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Better Writing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
