# Next Big Day vs TickDay

The clearest difference is monetization model: Next Big Day at free against TickDay's free with in-app purchases. TickDay's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Big Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TickDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Next Big Day against 5.0 for TickDay. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

Next Big Day ships an update every 2 weeks, TickDay every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
