# Pulse vs SteelRep

The clearest difference is update cadence: SteelRep at every 5 days against Pulse's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and SteelRep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pulse ships an update every 3 weeks, SteelRep every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
