# SoulTie vs EX

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SoulTie at 13.0 against EX's 15.1. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoulTie sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and EX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoulTie ships an update every 2 weeks, EX fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
