# Security+ Practice Test vs Security+ Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Security+ Practice Test at weekly against Security+ Pro's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security+ Practice Test sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Security+ Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Security+ Practice Test ships an update weekly, Security+ Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
