# PadLab vs CueWee

The clearest difference is price: CueWee at Free against PadLab's $2.99. CueWee also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). PadLab's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and ratings volume (42 vs 2). On update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

CueWee is free to download; PadLab costs $2.99 up front. PadLab sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. CueWee asks for nothing beyond the download.

CueWee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PadLab has 42 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of PadLab's written reviews are positive against 50% of CueWee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
