# PadLab vs WPE LIVE

The clearest difference is price: WPE LIVE at Free against PadLab's $2.99. WPE LIVE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 72%). PadLab's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and chart position (#18 vs unranked). On in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

WPE LIVE is free to download; PadLab costs $2.99 up front. PadLab sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and WPE LIVE sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WPE LIVE holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PadLab has 42 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
