# Cool Counter vs Petit Patate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Petit Patate at every 3 days against Cool Counter's fortnightly. Cool Counter's advantage is iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cool Counter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Petit Patate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
