# Tuner Universal vs Rithmatic

The clearest difference is rating: Rithmatic at 4.6 against Tuner Universal's 1.0. Rithmatic also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tuner Universal sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Rithmatic sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rithmatic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rithmatic has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tuner Universal ships an update weekly, Rithmatic every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
