# Eclipse Timer vs UV Index

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eclipse Timer at none against UV Index's 1. Eclipse Timer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UV Index sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Eclipse Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.
