# PilotConnect vs PartFive

The clearest difference is rating: PartFive at 5.0 against PilotConnect's 4.2. PartFive also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). PilotConnect's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PilotConnect sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PartFive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PartFive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PilotConnect has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PilotConnect ships an update weekly, PartFive every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
